The Arrivederci Story
From Family Restaurant to Brisbane’s Favourite Italian Caterers
Situated on the Euro-influenced Park Road strip, Arrivederci began as a dynamic family restaurant renowned for its Italian cuisine. The famous 1 metre pizza first made its mark on the food scene in 1980, opening its doors on the Gold Coast. Travelling from the Gold Coast to the heart of Brisbane, a second restaurant opened across the road from our current location. Three years later, in 1992, Arrivederci Pizza Al Metro opened, being the first pizzeria to serve pizza by the metre in Brisbane.
Owners Franco and Rita retired in 1999, selling Arrivederci Pizzeria restaurant to their son David. The tradition of the Silvestri family spirit shines through its 35-year family ownership.
Building on our success as Brisbane’s favourite Italian restaurant, we expanded into catering to meet growing demand from local businesses and event planners. Today, Arrivederci Catering brings the same authentic flavours and family recipes to your office lunches, corporate events, and special occasions throughout Brisbane.

When and How We Serve You
Our catering team is ready to serve your needs with flexible hours to accommodate your schedule. We accept catering orders from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Weekend catering is available with a minimum order of $500 and a $50 delivery fee.
